Whether you track team seedings, test an nfl playoff bracket simulator, or print out a sheet for your office pool, keeping up with match results is essential.
How the NFL Playoff Bracket Works
The postseason features fourteen teams, seven from the American Football Conference and seven from the National Football Conference. The top seed in each conference receives a opening-round bye. The remaining six teams play during Wild Card Weekend across three games per conference.
Winners move to the Divisional Round, where high seed hosts low seed. Reseedings after each round ensure the top remaining team plays the lowest remaining opponent. The winners advance to their respective Conference Championship games for a spot in the Super Bowl.
